Why is Riding Your Bike Cool?

This is why riding your bike is cool.

We have a website. A cool website at that. It does cool stuff and has cool people writing cool words on it with cool pictures and graphics. It’s about biking. How many driving websites are out there? NONE.
We have a community. We’ve got the Facebook AND the Twitter. Oh yeah, and people interacting on both platforms AND face-to-face. We support each other, commiserate with each other and ride together. When was the last time car commuters got together to talk about how awesome it is? NEVER.
We have May is Bike Month. A whole month dedicated to celebrating getting on your bike and just pedaling. I Bike Fresno has a ton of cool events like Revive Your Bike, the Million Mile Challenge, the Kaiser Permanente Bike to Work Day Corporate Challenge, Mall to Mall Ride and more! Have you ever celebrated “Drive Your Car to Work Month?” NO.

That is why riding your bike is cool.
